CASAS HEDDY Holding AS (CHHAS) is a Norwegian company owned by Niel Eiendom AS and Longevity Village AS. CHHAS owns 100% of CHESA (operating company) and CHNAS (the property). Our vision is to further develop Casas Heddy into a recognized rehabilitation and health resort, with Casas Heddy Lifecenter as our core health product. We offer guests with chronic health conditions active treatment programs in physiotherapy, training, and nutrition, all within a hotel resortand caregiving environment.

Casas Heddy, established in 1975 by Heddy Astrup and donated to the Red Cross in 1981, was acquired by Casas Heddy Holding AS in 2020. Today, we have 42 employees, 76 rooms, and a capacity of 150 guests.

The current CEO will transition to the role of Executive Chairman, focusing on sales, marketing and business development, while the new General Manager will oversee overall operations in CHESA (operating company)

Role Summary:

The General Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of Casas Heddy hotel resort and the Heddy Lifecenter. The role involves executing the new strategy set by the Board of Directors, developing the Heddy Lifecenter health treatment programs in alignment with the resort’s offerings, and ensuring high standards of guest and employee satisfaction, quality assurance, and asset protection. This position requires strong leadership, operational management, and product development skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement CHHAS business strategies to achieve short- and long-term goals.
  • Develop and expand the Heddy Lifecenter health treatment programs.
  • Ensure high standards of guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and quality assurance.
  • Provide leadership, training, direction, and support to hotel employees.
  • Manage budgets and financial performance; analyze and interpret financial information.
  • Present key financial data at board meetings.
  • Conduct employment meetings and implement Objective Key Results (OKRs).
  • Motivate employees to work as a cohesive team.
  • Inspect facilities regularly to ensure compliance with quality, health, and safety standards.
  • Ensure the health standards and quality of food and beverage offerings meet customer expectations.
  • Conduct market research to guide operational strategy toward the European market.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the hotel and/or restaurant industry.
  • Experience working within Spanish culture.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic and business plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in health coaching or a related field.
  • Experience in healthcare access and program administration and/or licensed health practitioner.
  • Experience managing a wellness or rehabilitation center.
  • Knowledge of physiotherapy, nutrition, and training programs.
  • Background in hospitality management with a focus on health and wellness services.
  • Proven ability to integrate healthcare services with hospitality operations.
